This project consists of assisting the client in renovating the space at the third floor of this facility to meet requirements set by The Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD). The project involved working in the nursery spaces and clinical laboratory services spaces. The upgrade involved architectural, MEP and structural work that needed to be evaluated. This project will be submitted to OSHPD for permit approval and plan check review.

House of Engineers Inc is providing the structural engineering design in support of achieving the remodel goals and reviewing architectural and MEP drawings and details to meet OSHPD standards. This structure is designed using the California building code coupled with ASCE 7-16 for non-structural component design and it is fully designed and detailed by our team of licensed structural engineers in the state of California.
