This project consists of assisting the client in the power remediation to 96-hour emergency project at this facility to meet requirements set by The Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD). The project involved working on upgrading the emergency power at this facility to meet HCAI PIN-74 requirements. The upgrade involved the design of new CMU enclosure with foundation system to house the new electrical generator with OSP certificate to meet these requirements as well as architectural and MEP components design. This project’s structural engineering scope is submitted to HCAI & approved for construction.

House of Engineers Inc is providing the structural engineering design in support of meeting requirements of PIN-74 and reviewing architectural and MEP drawings and details to meet HCAI standards.This structure is designed using the California building code coupled with ASCE 7-16 for non-structural component design and it is fully designed and detailed by our team of licensed structural engineers in the state of California.
